Firefly-Shop is one place where I can escape and be myself. The blog is intended to be about my life as a wife, stay-at-home-mom, family drama, my opinions and dreams.
At the same time it could be a place for other moms where they can find interesting things like savings, cool stuff for them and the whole family, healthy recipes, and much more, and I’m sure they’ll be able to relate to some of the things happening in my life.
So in short lets see what you need to know about me:
-I’m 27 years old
-My horoscope sign is Taurus
-With Hubby for 6 years, married for 4(we’ll just call him Hubby)
-I have one daughter about whom you’ll hear plenty, (Princess is 3.5 years old)
-Pets (2 Finch birds and 1 gold fish)
-I went to college (wanted to be a writer)
-I speak two languages
-I was born in Europe
-I love photography
-I love to read chick-lit and write stories
-My favorite color is yellow
-I listen to Rock and Punk music
-I love to cook (and eat)
-I try for us to be healthy and eat better
-I love sushi and anything to do with Japan (food, furniture, culture)
-I do my best with recycling and all the go green
-Use to live in a big city, now I’m in a small suburban place where nothing really happens Ever
-My parents and sister live an hour away
-Extended family that I don’t see so often (you’ll hear of them I’m sure)
-My in-laws live closer to us
Things I don’t admit so often:
-I’m a coffee junkie
-I am very stubborn
-I don’t like to exercise
-Yet I need to lose weight
-I get annoyed by things quickly
-While I’m washing dishes I pretend I’m somewhere else and have completely different life
-I can sing (but hide it from everyone)
-I know every song from Miley Cyrus
-I don’t mind my 3 year old singing Miley Cyrus songs (she also knows them all)
-I have a journal that is hidden
-I watch Jon & Kate Plus 8
-I watch movies at LMN (yes I know)
-I still have my pre-pregnancy clothes (that I hope will fit me someday)
-I love shoes and wish to have a room full of them
-I don’t drive
-I order free samples almost everyday
